You may have questions about what to expect at your first visit. Our FAQ page can help, but here are a few specifics for your first visit.
Scheduling: You can give us a call or schedule online (see the "Schedule Appointment" button at the top of every page **this feature is temporarily off-line and will be back soon**). If you book online, you can choose to pre-pay online or at the time of service.
Phone Consult: We offer complimentary 15 minute phone consultations to help you understand the ins and outs of acupuncture and how we might help you.
Clothing: Wear comfortable clothing such as sweat pants or athletic shorts and a t-shirt
ID: If we're billing insurance, please bring an ID and insurance card
Payment: We accept cash, check or credit card (a small fee is added to credit charges)
Eating: Please don't come to your sessions on a full stomach. You don't want to be uncomfortable and active digestion could impede other healing processes.
Duration: Your initial visit will last approximately 2 hours. Subsequent visits are typically about an hour, but may vary, depending on the treatment plan and specific needs.
Cancellation Policy: We adhere to a 24 hour cancellation policy and will charge the full rate for a missed or a no-show appointment.
